I am a Ph.D. student at the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Interactive Computing and a member of the Entertainment Intelligence Lab. My research focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate or augment game development via intelligent agents. Video games can serve a variety of roles: motivating tasks such as crowdsourcing, education, and entertainment. However, game development is an expensive process in terms of time, money, and the experience required. Intelligent agents capable of working with novice developers can empower educators, researchers, and enthusiasts to create games to meet their needs.
